Parents This Is A Tough Love Leadership Program, Not A Boot Camp!
The Program Agenda
• All classes are filmed and recorded.
• The average class size is between 25 - 50 children.
• Motivational lectures and presentations by elite professionals.
• Physical fitness and resistant exercises is required. However, our wellness activities are not used to punish children. We use it to help students
get physically fit, increase self-esteem, to understand the significance of maintaining a healthy body. Fitness is used to develop the over all
cadets mind, body and spirit. We integrate health and fitness into our program as a motivational tool to help children become more focused
and discipline in all areas of their lives. Health and fitness is paramount and can be used as a catalyst to achieve personal success in life.
• Filed trips to correctional facilities, county jails, police departments, morgues, trauma centers, funeral homes and hospitals are manditory.
• Cadets are taught daily curriculum from the Navigator, a character education and behavior modification teacher’s youth achievement resource
book. They view a thirty minute DVD “The Navigator.” The program teaches character education and shows riveting stories of prison inmates’
poor choices. It sends a powerful message to youth, there are serious consequences associated with their actions. They are taught daily

• Mandatory community service activities, including Project Clean Cities - youth actively participate in projects to keep city neighborhoods
clean.
• Mandatory daily in house manual labor assignments such as sweeping, mopping, washing walls, picking up paper and trash, taking out
garbage, washing cars, landscaping, planting flowers and cutting grass.
• Parental involvement counseling and participation is mandatory.
Tough Love Academy Enrollment Policy
All parents have to write a letter to the Director of Admissions requesting admission into The D West Tough Love Academy. The letter should have detailed information regarding your child’s demeanor and include his or her behavioral management problems and the underlining issues you are seemingly overwhelmed with daily. The explanation letter of admissions can be forwarded to our corporate office via US Postal mail (FedEx, UPS, Air Born, etc.) or it can be simply e-mailed to the Director of Admissions. After submitting your formal letter of admissions to our office, parents are then ready to pre register their child or children into The D West Tough Love Academy. The pre registration process take several weeks. A representative from the Tough Love Academy will call you after all your admissions paper work is processed and reviewed. If you need addition information regarding this program please forward a letter to our office and/or e-mail us. You should receive a response within two to three weeks regarding your child’s admissions status into the academy.
Medical
All children have to be cleared medically by there physician before they are allowed to official attend the academy.
